The Museum invites authors of recent books on Army and military history to discuss their work with the public. In this monthly offering, hear from scholars, journalists, and historians sharing in-depth examinations of Army history. Battle Brief
Join Museum staff for presentations on the Army’s history at home and abroad. Explore a specific battle, campaign, or other event from the U.S. Army’s remarkable past, using maps and period images.

Virtual Field Trips connect students to the Museum without leaving their desks. Virtual lesson plans engage students in the Army’s history through artifacts, primary sources, and Soldiers’ Stories.
Spring Civil War Week
Each spring, the Museum offers a multi-day, detailed exploration of the American Civil War through a series of presentations by noted military historians, a curator discussion of select Museum Civil War artifacts, Battle Briefs, and other educational activities.
