The COVID-19 Pandemic has impacted the date of the Museum’s public opening, and though the Army continues to monitor the situation, no new date has been decided. As we receive formal guidance from the Army and other relevant information, we will continue to update this webpage to reflect the most up to date information.

At this time we are opening up our interest form to field inquiries for 2021 bookings. We understand the fluidity of this situation and will provide definite answers about ticketing reservations for visitor itinerary planning and travel as soon as circumstances permit. We are dedicated to ensuring you are kept informed and hope you are all staying safe and healthy at this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding. While we can’t change the circumstances affecting us all today, we look forward to what’s ahead when we can safely welcome you to the National Museum of the U.S. Army. We promise it will be worth the wait.

Fill out our online reservations form below to be placed on our interest list. When your ticket request has been approved, you will receive an email confirmation with your tickets as an attachment.

Limited timed reservations are available for docent-led educational experiences in the Museum’s Experiential Learning Center (ELC). Outside the scheduled bookings, the ELC can be visited by museum guests at their convenience. The Museum’s education department is available to help teachers and youth leaders plan student visits and provide specialized instruction.

The Museum also offers paid attractions, including virtual reality and ride simulators. Groups will receive discounted rates and 1 free voucher for every 20 reservations made for paid attractions.

Boxed lunches are available for purchase as well. The Museum features a café, though groups of 50 or more are encouraged to schedule lunch in shifts, due to limited space.

The Museum does not currently offer guided group tours. Trained docents are stationed throughout the galleries to answer visitors’ questions.

COVID safety and health precautions may impact ELC access and future use, availability will be monitored with reservations in real time upon opening.
