The Six Triple Eight Documentary and Descendants Panel

The Army Historical Foundation invites you to enjoy a screening of the 2019 documentary “The Six Triple Eight” by Lincoln Penny Films. The film focuses on the 6888 Central Postal Directory Battalion, which was the first all-female multi-ethnic unit of the U.S. Women’s Army Corps deployed to Europe to clear the backlog of mail in England and France to help Soldiers’ morale. Their motto was “No Mail, Low Morale.”

Spotsylvania Court House Battle Ride

Embark on a historical journey with The Army Historical Foundation’s Spring Battle Ride, Spotsylvania Court House, “The Horrors of Many Battlefields” on May 4, 2024. The tour will explore the battle of the Muleshoe Salient for Spotsylvania Court House in Virginia, a notoriously violent clash that marked a turning point in the Civil War.
