AHF On the Road at the National Museum of Military Vehicles

August 7, 2024 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

This event has passed.

The Army Historical Foundation (AHF) will be visiting the acclaimed National Museum of Military Vehicles (NMMV). This occasion offers a fantastic opportunity for the AHF team to engage and celebrate the museum community alongside distinguished institutions like NMMV.

AHF President BG (Ret) Burt Thompson will join General (Ret) Eric Shinseki, the 34th Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army and Chairman of The Army Historical Foundation, along with Tammy Call, Director of the National Army Museum. The event will conclude with a Q&A session, providing a unique opportunity to gain in-depth insights about our very own museum and its supporting Foundation.

The team is excited to visit this beautiful region and excited to visit for the first time this world-class military history museum  southeast of Dubois, WY. The Museum features nearly 500 fully restored military vehicles, artillery pieces, naval vessels and aircraft dating from 1897 to the present with a current emphasis on the American experience in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. The museum also houses a large, historically significant, firearms collection.
