Raising a Pint to Army History

The Army Historical Foundation is proud to partner with Honor Brewing Company to celebrate the Army’s 250th Birthday with a special edition lager, 1775 Salute. The brewery, based near the Museum in northern Virginia, has a history of supporting those who serve thanks to the vision and values of its owner, Allen O. Cage, Jr., a 24-year Army veteran. The label for the commemorative beer evokes the script and yellowed edges of America’s founding documents and encourages all to raise a toast to the American Soldiers who courageously stood behind America’s first declaration of freedom.

If you would like to purchase 1775 SALUTE to enjoy at home, please contact kat.prescott@compass-usa.com. $25 per six pack to go.

This special-label beer is served exclusively as part of the National Museum of the United States Army’s special event catering and offers hosts a unique way to feature the limited-edition brew at their celebrations. A portion of the sales proceeds support the Museum’s Foundation.

During your next visit to the Museum, consider making a stop at the nearby Honor Brewing Company to share a salute with Allen and raise a glass.

The Registry of the American Soldier is a digital collection of Soldier profiles displayed at the National Army Museum. Celebrate the 250th Birthday by creating a free profile for yourself or an Army veteran you admire.
