Ways to Make a Legacy Gift...
A Gift in Your Will (Bequest)
You can specify an asset, an amount of money, or a percentage of your estate that will be given to AHF by including the following sentence in your will. “I give and bequeath to The Army Historical Foundation or its successor [specific asset, dollar amount or percentage of estate] for the benefit of the National Museum of the United States Army.”
List AHF as the beneficiary of your:
- IRA, 401(k), 403(B), TSP, or other retirement plan
- Brokerage Account
- Life Insurance Policy
- Donor Advised Fund (DAF)
A gift of securities
Transfer stock to the Army Historical Foundation. Contact majorgifts@armyhistory.org for AHF’s stock transfer instructions.
You can also talk to your attorney or financial advisor about charitable remainder trusts, retained life estates, and gifts of real estate.
