LTC Wilford B. Carlisle. Honored by his wife Llano Carlisle.
It is my wish that my husband’s Army career spanning three wars not be forgotten. We were married for 67 years and our two children are pleased to have their father’s service and dedication to defend the freedoms we enjoy in America set to memory in a brick as part of the National Museum of the United States Army in our Nation’s capital. Wilford B Carlisle retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the Army after 31 years in the service of our country. He was in Europe in World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam.
