Latest Holiday Happenings!

The National Museum of the United States Army and The Army Historical Foundation have added to their seasonal calendars as the Museum continues its exhibition of one of the most impressive collections of American Revolutionary artifacts on display anywhere in the world. The Museum is open every day, except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, with free admission and parking.

“CALL TO Arms: The Soldier and the Revolutionary War”

Open daily with admission, “CALL TO Arms” is a temporary exhibit commemorating this year’s 250th birthday of the U.S. Army and next year’s 250th anniversary of the nation.  The exhibit features firsthand accounts of those who fought in the Revolutionary War and dozens of period artifacts, including a pair of General George Washington’s pistols, the original flag of the 1st Rhode Island Regiment carried by the Army’s first African American Soldiers, and a complete Loyalist uniform—one of the rarest items in the collection.
