I am placing this brick, In memory of my son, Sgt Carl F. Curran, who served with the Pa. National Guard 28th infantry div. battery C of the 107th out of Oil City, Pa from 2000 – 2000. His unit was called up for duty in Iraq for military police duty, when he was killed in Al Karmah, Iraq on May 16th (the 17th), the states. He was a very caring person, who enjoyed life and had left behind a young wife and infant daughter, who is now 14.
