The Soldier Experience Series: Asian-Pacific Islander Americans: Citizens and Service to the Nation

Arlington, VA – May 25
The Soldier Experience Series: Citizenship and Service to the Nation will celebrate the multiplicity of the Asian-Pacific Islander American community and the contributions these groups have made to the Army’s history since the Civil War in spite of widespread discrimination.  The exhibit will explore the contributions of the Chinese-Americans, Filipino-Americans, Japanese-Americans, Korean-Americans, Vietnamese-Americans, and South Asian-Americans.

AHF Staff Ride: First Battle of Bull Run

Manassas, VA – April 29, 2017
The Army Historical Foundation will be conducting its Spring Battlefield Ride on 29 April.  This ride will cover the First Battle of Bull Run (Manassas), the first major engagement of the Civil War fought on 21 July 1861.
The cost for for this event is $80 per person and includes round trip bus transportation, box lunch, maps and handouts, snacks, and beverages.

2017 Annual Golf Tournament

Fort Belvoir, VA – June 16, 2017
The tournament takes place at Fort Belvoir, the future home of the National Museum of the United States Army. The 18-hole scramble will take players through one of the finest military golf facilities in the world, located a few miles south of Washington, DC.
